§ 10-812. CONDITIONS ON POLICE RESPONSE.

  • The Alarm Officer shall not respond to burglary or robbery alarms at a given address:

    (a) When the Police Department has responded to three false burglary and/or robbery alarms at that address in the current fiscal year unless and until the subscriber at that address certifies in a letter addressed to the Police Department that the subscriber has taken steps to prevent further false alarms; or

    (b) When, following the Police Department's receipt of the letter referred to in subsection (a), there have been twelve or more false burglary and/or robbery alarms received in that fiscal year; or

    (c) When any fees have been assessed pursuant to Section 10-811 of this article against the subscriber at that address, and the subscriber is ninety days or more delinquent in paying such fees.

    For purposes of this section, a fiscal year shall begin July first and end the following June thirtieth. (Added Ord. 88-8, § 8, eff. 2-12-88; Am. Ord. 88-155, § 1, 1-20-89).
