The California Building Code, 2016 Edition, which may be referred to in this Code
as the CBC, as promulgated by the California Building Standards Commission, which
incorporates the adoption of the 2015 edition of the of the International Building
Code as amended with necessary California amendments and the 2015 International Building
Code of the International Code Council, with the exception of Appendix B, are adopted
and incorporated by reference into the Code and shall be referred to, along with the
City's amendments to the CBC provided in Section 11-102, as the Fresno Building Code.
One copy of the CBC is on file and available for use by the public in the Development
and Resource Management Department, Building and Safety Services Division.
