§ 14-2203. CRUISING PROHIBITED.

  • (a) Cruising is prohibited in the core areas defined in section 14-103 of this chapter and identified by no-cruising signs which comply with subsection 14-2202(b) of this article.

    (b) No person shall be guilty of cruising unless that person:

    (1) Has been issued written notice by a Fresno Police Department officer that further driving past the traffic control point shall be a violation of this ordinance, and has been observed driving past the control point on a subsequent occasion within the time period set forth in subsection 14-103(c) of this article.

    The written notice shall be in bold and legible type upon a card not smaller than four inches by six inches and shall be handed to the person being warned. The card shall state the prohibition set forth in this section and the definition of cruising as set forth in this chapter and California Vehicle Code Section 21100(k). (Am.
