§ 5-407. TRAFFIC REGULATIONS WITHIN AIRPORT.

  • (a)

    Pursuant to the authority of Section 21113(c) of the Vehicle Code all provisions of the Vehicle Code relating to traffic upon the highways shall be applicable at the Airport. The Council designates the following as subject to the Vehicle Code:

    (1)

    Roadways as entrances to or exits from Airport;

    (2)

    Points where vehicles must come to a stop before proceeding;

    (3)

    Places for crosswalks;

    (4)

    Roadways as service roadways, roadways open to the public or private roadways;

    (5)

    Places where roadways shall be divided into lanes;

    (6)

    The direction and manner in which vehicles shall proceed.

    (b)

    The Director is authorized to erect signs, make markings and erect or place official traffic control devices and official traffic signals giving notice thereof, which signs, markings, devices and signals shall conform to the provisions of Section 21401 of the Vehicle Code.
