§ 5-408. PARKING REGULATIONS.

(a)

The Director is authorized to designate:

(1)

Places where vehicles may or may not be parked;

(2)

The period of time for which vehicles may be parked at any place; and shall make appropriate markings giving notice thereof which markings shall conform to the provisions of Section 21401 of the Vehicle Code.

(b)

Except as otherwise provided herein, persons shall park vehicles only in those areas designated by signs as public parking areas. It is further provided that:

(1)

No person shall park any vehicle in any public parking area except between the painted lines indicating where vehicles shall be parked;

(2)

No person shall so park any vehicle in any public parking areas so as to use or occupy more than one marked parking space.

(c)

No person shall park or stop any vehicle at the Airport:

(1)

In any restricted parking, stopping or standing zone for a time longer than provided for by the display of appropriate signs or curb marking, or in violation of any other limitation or restriction set forth in any sign or curb marking.

(2)

In any zone where the display of appropriate signs and/or curb markings indicate that parking, stopping or standing at such location is not permitted.

(d)

All drivers of vehicles entering upon any public parking area shall follow and comply with any directional markers or signs therein.

(e)

No person shall park any vehicle for hire in any place other than a place provided therefor and appropriately marked as such.

(f)

No person shall park any vehicle other than a vehicle for hire in any place set aside for the parking of vehicles for hire.

(g)

The Director is authorized to remove any vehicle parked on any roadway, parking area or other posted property on Airport in violation of this Code, and to impound the same at owner's expense.
