§ 6-216. ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY.

The Director and designees shall have the authority to enforce the provisions of this article and, when vested with criminal citation authority, to arrest any person without a warrant for a violation of this article when committed in his/her presence, and to issue a notice to appear pursuant to Penal Code Section 836.5. This authority shall be in addition to the authority granted to police officers under this Code.
