§ 7-1204. ROOMING HOUSES.

  • (a) For every person conducting, carrying on or managing the business of a lodging or rooming house consisting of four or more rooms available for rent, the license fee shall be determined by the retail gross receipts schedule designated in the Master Fee Resolution.

    (b) If any person conducting, carrying on or managing a lodging or rooming house shall use or permit to be used such lodging or rooming house for the purpose of lewdness, assignation or prostitution, and shall be convicted for such offenses or any of them in any court of the State of California, then and in either event the license, as provided herein, for such lodging or rooming house shall be revoked and shall not hereafter be renewed for a period of one year from and after the date of the final judgment of such conviction.
