For the purpose of this section, the word "solicitor" shall include, but not be limited
to, every person conducting, carrying on or managing the business of going from house
to house, place to place, or in or along the streets, within the city, taking orders
for or offering to take orders for goods, wares, merchandise or other things of value
for future delivery, or for services to be performed in the future. (Orig. Ord. 4603;
