§ 5-409. ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY.

Enforcement of these rules and regulations at airport shall be the responsibility of those persons employed by city as airport peace officers and airport parking enforcement officers. Airport peace officers may enforce any provision of this article. Airport parking enforcement officers may enforce any provision of Sections 5-407 and 5-408 of this Code. Airport parking enforcement officers are public officers within the meaning of California Penal Code Section 836.5 and not peace officers. In addition, traffic regulations may be enforced by any duly authorized peace officer, including, but not limited to, the Fresno Police Department and the California Highway Patrol which are by this reference specifically authorized to enter upon the roadways within Airport for the purpose of enforcement of Vehicle Code provisions.
